Gathering a good team for creating this online service

OOoooooook !  now having such a thought in mind , I decided to finish this application somehow .  But just having the idea , I even didnt know where to start from    Well here I needed a dedicated team , with whom I can work closely to finish this application . So I met joined together with a couple of students and we decided to get this application up as soon as possible . Meeting several times , we decided to do the project in open source technologies ( LAMP ) so that we keep the cost controlled -  and we roped in a free lancing designer . Well the most interesting part is , we some how wanted the design to be different than any other applications and finally came up with a design [ hhhhmmmmm ... still it can be made better I guess ] . So still now the application is under development . Though we are facing hurdles here and there …. the work is going steadily .  You know what ? we are planning to release it July end  as a closed beta service ( as you see , we are not so much experts in coding   and we want most bugs fixed in closed beta inself and make the application a better experience for the users ) …

Well , I have discussed this idea with many and they ask what domain (vertical) this project comes under  !  Well I am too a bit confused on what domain it is under … but one thing.. I dont want it to be under any domain    !    Why dont we inself create a new and seperate domain for our service ????? hhhmmmm …. so for now I group this service under a new domain by name “Beyond networking” [ Kept this name , cause I see the service cover something beyond the normal social networking domain ] . It seems to solve some particular pain the current social networking site users have …..  whatever … lets see how the people look at it    -  Hey ! and I know what your asking ..” Dude you still havent told the idea behind the service !!!! First say that and then blabber “     ok ok …. pals ! the thing is I dont want to tell the idea as such at this point .. as we want to present it as a surprise to people    , So please bear with us and give your valuable comments [ as this application runs only when you people use it    so we expect a huge support from you people ]

So we have also come up with a name for the service – areapal.com [ well thought it will be easy to remember and type by the users ]  and have also booked the domain .  As of now we have a single page in the domain www.areapal.com for getting the names of users who are interested [ so we can seek thier help when we are doing the beta testing   ]

Just realised – should expand my circle locally before I venture out !

Well am a bit new to blogging , but I have always wanted to write my own blog . But now I have a burning need to really write my own blog , so created this wordpress account in a hurry to say and impliment something that has been troubling me for a long time .

What am I going to say ?

” Yes , I am going to create a new online servcie that is really going to solve a pain . The pain is nothing but the fact that we people should first get to know the people very near to us and then step out to know people else where …. “  ok ok enough I guess [ u r in a hurry  ]  . The next para says Why I started this online service and how I started it …..

*  Why on earth should I put my effort into creating this online service ?

OK I guess you are reading this para , because you have time to read and will read it fully , and also I persume that you might have already read the para prior to this also [ if not please read it to get the flow ]  ….

Its Friday night and am alone in home  . I had a very good sleep in the afternoon [ saying this because I want you to know I wont be getting sleep early in the night ]  .  Ok – so I stroll somewhere in a evening and come back home at 7 and watch some T.V programs till 8:30 . Ok am also bored on T.V . Then I have my parcel dinner and sit in front of my computer to browse and check if I can find something interesting and get a bit naughty  . OKies its nearly 9:30 now and I start browsing through various social networks am member of to find if I can find someone ( a female for sure ) who is interesting enough to have a good friendship with & hang around . Well please stop at this point  !  My naughty mind not only looks for a female …. it looks for these following criteria also :

*  The female should be near my home (atleast inside Chennai )

* She should be a freaky person ( in the sence she should be with a gang of Boys and girls )

* Would be good if she is from out station and is studying in some institute like NIFT etc.

* Should be in a gang that enjoys them selves ( knowing thier limits ) … and going to pubs / DISCS etc. till late night and bash out !

Ok did u see my criteria’s ???  a bit wierd right …. ?  but u see a lazy and terribly bored human mind sometimes wants somebody or some gang close by to vail away and Talk to and enjoy .

But I suddenly see something weird in the social networks I use !!!!  …. most of the new friends I have there are suddenly very far from me .They are either from Banglore or Kerala or Hyderabad …. or whatever !  I also log into the “Chennai – chat room” in Yahoo messenger and see I dont find the proper person I want [ and the big thing is no girl replies back here   ] . I suddenly get the feeling that I am in a totally empty space and … and  … I dont have a big gang in my “area” to enjoy with …. !  here comes this blogs heading ” Just realised – should expand my circle locally before I venture out ! ” … ….. ……………

This blankness triggers unlimited thoughts in my head which makes me get up from the computer and walk to-fro in the room at 10 in the night thinking , thinking and thinking again – Well what was my thought ?   nothing but  ” Like me how much boys and girls will be out there in my area and in Chennai who are sitting right at this moment thinking in the same manner like me and looking out for some entertainment ( atleast think that they should expand thier local cirlce and get to know the people in their area ) ” ….. !   Well this thought made me to strongly decide create an online service that will be of great help to get to know the people near us  [ well you never know ... sometimes the most intresting person in ur life will be just a street away ]  and in our area and meanwhile maintain friendship with people in other areas also .
